The first thing you noticed when the three ladies parked their bikes and walked in the store was the leather Sgt. Pepper/Michael Jackson jacket on the one who headed to the counter. There were leather medals where the left pocket should be and Viaggi picked out the red Rubyware logo and blurted "Don't tell me you gals are here to sell us software." "Not really" the 30ish strawberry blonde replied, "Hi, I'm Sherri and I'm lookin' for Carlos" Viaggi and Lily intro'd themselves and Viaggi asked "Where do you know Carlos from? after explaining the situation" "We met in Knoxville some years ago when he was managing a project and I was consulting for Rubyware" Sherri offered. Well, it turns out Lily was at that same conference in Knoxville keeping Carlos' wife company and instead of getting all detective about it, left it as no harm, no foul. Viaggi couldn't pass up the opportunity to schmooze Sherri and invited her and friends back to his place after 5 when the store closed up. Viaggi knew how to pull together a simple deck party on short notice and his ample wine collection had the five of them praising Viaggi's favorite malbec. Sherri took Viaggi's transition from techno-pioneer to a tackle shop owner as a retirement matter until she noticed the Winiker painting of the Brooklyn Bridge on the wall in his den then she remembered where she first saw it and it wasn't in Knoxville.
