We last left Eddie embracing his new found love somewhat in heat. Luana was as smitten with Eddie as he was of her. She lived in commune of sorts with the guys in the band and Eddie was currently bunking at Leon's so that's where they consummated. Luana was as creeped out as Eddie from the "lovelies" Leon brought home so Eddie got the message and started looking for a nice joint. It wasn't exactly penthouse quality but their studio was not the shanty the commune was either. Luana's Namibian features portrayed softness, gentleness and maybe even sweetness but her demeanor couldn't hide her wanderlust. Eddie found himself in the similar place he & Brenda got to and with reluctance and more than a little realization of self-defeat, Eddie conjured up a decision to reinvent himself and take off for new territory to help define his learned persona, the one that didn't leave love in the room as you depart with a suitcase. He went over the places in his mind that he always wanted to visit and true to Eddie's fuck conformity spirit. He made the arrangements to head for Gdansk, Poland and pick up on the Lech Walesa fortitude that he admired so much in college. Yeah, Gdansk.
