The Get Low guy let 40 years go by before repenting publicly for not saving his lover from a fire. Repentance is usually depicted as required to reset your internal dynamics, accepting as a given that repentable doings jostle your equilibrium.Since redemption and remediation were previously covered (bottom of page),maybe just a little here about the other R-word. My public repentance is still in the planning stage because 1) not sure what the entire repentable incident consists of 2)not confident that repenting will be transformative and 3) pretty sure I want to keep the current dynamics, give or take some energy boost and maybe a little gain in desire for adventure. Today will feature some teen input from a pair of remarkable sibs who are making passage to the northwest tomorrow. It is not better to only see them two or three times a year but that's what's supposed to be and changing that will only come from their responsible authority. I woke up from a dream this morning imagining buying a cherry street rod from a Barrett auction, something I used to pray for and only a few days ago mentioned to the teeth lady about the abundance of them in Reno in August. Not sure what the connection between repentance and hot rods are, if any, but maybe it'll hit me later. Lavender blue, dilly dilly.
