Yesterday when I was young, I stood in the living room floor and put my arms out while spinning in a circle over
and over. Mom was playing "Grenada" on the piano and eventually I'd fall down from being so dizzy. This should
have been my first clue that dizzy would be appealing all my life. That's not saying disoriented is the goal but
whirling in the mind, making unprepared thoughts appear and exit through my mouth or fingertips - now we're
talking. Sometimes I think it's like a spiritual connection a la speaking in tongues or voodoo but basically I think
it's a by-product of being in touch with all my feelings. Not saying no one else is, but routinely understanding the
feeling that makes these words end up here is the new dizzy. Today's words are assisted by the endorphins from
this morning's wake up, thanks to my love, my life the one who gets me better than anyone. The dream this
morning involved a bike with two flat tires and some special in-laws. The story last night was The Extra Man - an
appreciated story for it's quirkiness. Maybe some rain today which could mean the sound of raindrops on a metal
patio cover. Kinda like the feeling of spinning to Grenada.
