The dream went like this: I'm on a freeway moving close to the road and I exit the off ramp and a car, maybe two turn into my lane and almost run over me. It's like I'm a camera mounted on a skateboard - I'm that close to the ground. I keep moving and merge with the highway. At the next intersection I see the shopping center that I'm looking for. I pull in and drive past some stores with hand lettered signs. I'm searching for a pharmacy to get some product that I read about to smoke. I park the car and walk from the parking area to some stores, asking a guy where the pharmacy is. He says it's not open yet but he can let me in and show me some of the products for sale. He shows me some food and I tell him I'm looking for the product that you can smoke. He shrugs his shoulders and I walk out looking for my car. I'm trying to remember what it looks like and I think its burgundy color. I walk past several cars, some reddish and get to the end of the lot - no car. I start to walk back to the stores and I see a parking lot for a hotel. I think maybe I parked there and didn't remember that. I search and still no car.
WTF? I've had a variation of this dream more times than I can count. Stress? From where? Just a stupid spot in my memory array? I always wake up and get a feeling of relief that it was just a dream and I really didn't lose my car. With a history of two really nice cars stolen in my lifetime, maybe just a PTSD flashback of sorts? Oh well, shitty night dreams but exquisite daytime reality - not a bad blend, better than vice-versa.
