NEW YEAR

The guy in the opening scene either dropped out of the DeLorean in the sky, was in the prom scene of Peggie Sue Got Married or was in the Wizard of Oz house. Doesn't matter. He's moving to Over the Hills and Far Away in the background and he comes across a hookah maker finishing a brass covered 5 tuber in the shape of a bottle of Chartreuse. The guy asks "why five?" and the hookah guy says "that's what she said". Now the guy feels put upon and the flat screen in the background is showing Golddiggers of 1934 and the girl, the one with the blonde bob who comes down the ramp is actually the guy in Candies and a sarong causing viewers everywhere to yell "That's what's sarong!!". The guy feels slighted, knowing full well that he's dropping bird dirt where orange slices used to be dished. It's a complication of buzzkill and underestimating the effects of obfuscation in the writing. The guy wants to return to home base but forgets the safe word and instead mutters "change your ringtone if you wanna get jammed by me". Nobody knows what being jammed means so the credits begin to roll on a close up of galoshes dripping wet with the rain drops reflecting the worm in Dune. Normally we'd end here but there's a twist to the whole idea: The principle of making people show up as applied to text means that the only two eyes to ever see this already thought enough about it so go ahead and book 'em Dano. Ergo, the answer to what's your sign is "cupping mellons".
