The build up to the getaway to Luhacovice could fill a chapter. It suffices to say that an extended weekend was required because it takes 18 hours to get there from Gdansk. But once they arrived, they were met by Ariel's friend Jean who had a flat there in the downtown area where they would be staying. The town is famous for it's spas and mineral springs as well as a 1st class hotel. Ariel pressed Jean for an immediate ride to her favorite spring at Aloiska which was only minutes away. As soon as they parked the car, Ariel took Eddie's hand and said "walk with me to my favorite place on the planet". They walked along a path to the stream so full sulphur and minerals that Eddie almost begged off walking along it. They sat in a small cove and looked out at the autumn sky. Ariel knew this moment was for magic and leaned in to kiss Eddie just as Jean's voice broke the spell. "There you are, you two love birds - c'mon we need to get moving if I'm going to be on time at work" On the ride back to Jean's Eddie wasn't sure how he'd respond when he and Ariel were alone in Jean's flat.
