We're only 2 days from when the earth-sized earthquake will happen according to FamilyRadio.com. There's a list about 46 spaces long of what's needed to be done before I'm swallowed by the Big Opening. But I can't list them here because once I make the list, then there must be some action taken on at least one of 'em. I'm admitting that whatever is on there, none of them is really important or I'd spend the valuable 48 hours remaining to act on the list instead of writing this. It got me thinking about the white belts which actually were gray from dirt, that went around your waist and another band which was sewn to the belt, same size and same gray color, went up to your shoulder and down the front to the belt, on which was a metal badge about 4 inches long and 3 inches wide with a logo on it with the word "Safety" prominently printed on it. You got to wear the smelly thing if you were a Safety in grade school in the 50s. That entitled you to get out of school 5 minutes earlier than normals but you had to go to your post and stand there until school let out completely and you were a crossing guard as well as a snitch if you reported to teachers the eyewitnessed malevolence occurring on your post. I never was a Safety because they would come to a classroom and the teacher would get up and go over to him (they were always boys) and he would talk quietly and tell on some kid. So we were aware back then that the gifted would dime on the mortals, hence the FamilyRadio.com guy. I'll roll him in dogdirt on May 22.
