Dave is a funny guy sometimes. Today he reeks of calamine lotion, not the fragrance of choice when interviewing a highly regarded candidate. Dave wondered why he felt more than average anxiety about this situation and, true to form, he was reminded of the most emotional interview he ever got. It happened in one of his psychology classes at Kingsley during an exercise where students paired off and gathered details on the other's most exasperating experience. He got to the moment in the interview when she confessed she had the lead in her drama class production of a Stuart Adeleman play in which she had a scene where she had to take off her blouse. Dave shook his head and said "yes, that could be a thing that many people would find intimidating". She interrupted Dave to reveal she never had any intimacy at that point in her life, especially one where she exposed herself in any way. Now here she was going topless for the first time in her life, not for a person but in front of a group. Dave smiled recalling his speechless response and knowing the interview of the moment may be important but probably not even close to "naked go I".

As the door shut, Charles Legman sat down in front of Dave who was fumbling with the folder before making eye contact. Legman handled Dave's questions calmly and with almost a storytellers knack. Dave was impressed and wanted to confirm Mr. Legman right there but Dave's iPhone signalled a call to which Dave requested a pause with Charles to take the incoming. As soon as Dave walked out, Charles stood up and looked around Dave's many eyecatchers gathered in this space, especially the lava lamp on Dave's cabinet. Charles picked it up to see if it was a knock-off or an original and instantly it started to sputter and spit out gobs of lamp jizz that splattered all over Charles' shirt. He immediately took it off and looked out at the office to see where the lavatory was, just as Dave walked in to see him standing there, shirtless. Dave now pondered on the notion of "what goes around, comes around" and snickered at the thought of his ex-classmate somewhere in this planet laughing to herself.
